My birthday is in August. My grandfathers, mothers, uncles, cousins and now new family members. It is truly a time to celebrate and look back on the year that's past and the year to come. We also have a few anniversaries.
I will be giving one lucky person a bundle of fall colored wool as a gift- to you from me for supporting my small business. The drawing will be after I return from Get Hooked At Sea at the end of August. By the way...there are still a few spots left if you want to join us!

My website has been a bit glitchy lately and we have been working on it. SO, with that in mind I am going to say that the drawing will be at the very end of the month. August 31, 2022.

Enjoy the end of the summer. The heat has broken here and I am full of energy again. It felt like forever for this heat to subside but maybe as we come closer to the fall we can enjoy more glorious sunny days outside.
I have been working on some fall rugs and will be offering fall kits in September- small ones, easy for you to hook up quickly in time to use for decorating. Keep watching for those in the shop.

What a wonderful month to have a birthday! Mine is in the cold days of December but it falls between Christmas and New Year's so everyone is in a festive mood. Giving something on your birthday (any day) to someone else "fills their bucket" and yours too! Have you ever heard the story about the bucket dipper? When you fill someone's bucket you receive two gifts - making the person happy and thought of but also experiencing the happiness you bring to others by seeing them smile at your surprise. Bucket Filling is wonderful.
